DEMONSTRATION VIDEOS
- Vocal Arrangement Deconstruction: In this video I solo all the parts and submixes within the vocal arrangement of my remix, and trace how the arrangment ties in with the lead-vocal effects automation as the song progresses. Unlike many of my fully-scripted Cambridge-MT tutorial videos, I’ve not done any voiceover here, and have instead used onscreen captions to get by points across, because I wanted to avoid interrupting the flow of the audio examples.

- Guitars Arrangement Deconstruction: In a similar vein, this video showcases all the constituent parts of my remix’s guitar arrangement, and demonstrates how I built the short-term and long-terms arrangement dynamics through the entire timeline.

- Automation Insights: In this video, I demonstrate various ways in which I’ve used automation across lots of different tracks in this mix to improve balance, sustain, impact, detail, and long-term section dynamics. There’s a lot of stuff happening on-screen in this video, so don’t be afraid to stop or loop playback so you have enough time to read all the captions and hear how each featured lane of automation is affecting the end result.

- Adding A Bass Subsynth: I added a programmed subsynth part to this mix to fill out the low end of the bass guitar, and in this video I share my process for doing this, showing all the settings I used and demonstrating the sound at each stage.
